The History of St Albans Football & Netball Club
The St Albans Football Club was founded in 1880. Making us one of the oldest sporting organisations in Geelong. With the clubs inception to the Geelong Football League in 1973, followed by establishing Netball in 2000 and Women’s Football in 2017, St Albans FNC continues to be an enduring and integral sporting organisation within our local and the broader Geelong communities.
St Albans FNC remains steadfast in its commitment to improving the overall performance across junior development programs, connection with community and fellow sporting organisations.
We take pride in our facilities which often host main stage community and sporting events (Relay for Life Cancer Fundraiser, Rotary, GDFNL Finals Series and GFNL Grand Final Day 2022). These types of events have been influential in reinforcing our Club’s vision and brand. People, Place, Participation, Pride and Performance.
